Asian & Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander
Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander communities navigating rare disease and chronic illness may face unique cultural, linguistic, and systemic barriers that impact access to care, advocacy, mental health support, and representation within healthcare spaces. Despite the diversity and richness of these communities, their experiences are often overlooked or underrepresented in conversations surrounding rare disease and health equity.
This space was created to uplift resources, organizations, stories, and support systems that reflect and honor the lived experiences of Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander individuals and families.
