Black individuals and families navigating rare disease and chronic illness often face unique barriers within healthcare systems, including delayed diagnoses, medical bias, underrepresentation in research, and inequitable access to care and support.
This space was created to help connect the Black and African American community with culturally relevant resources, organizations, stories, and support systems that recognize and honor those lived experiences.
